Boarding

Local Farm offers boarding for cows whose families want to go on vacation. Full Boarding Fees are $25/day or $400/month per head. Cattle must be halter trained, gentle, and arrive with a current veterinarian’s certificate of health (including TB and brucelosis test within 30 days) and current rabies shot. Any special feed or veterinary care incurred during their stay is additional. Lower rates are available for long term boarders whose families visit regularly and help with their care.
