Oxen Basics at Local Farm (Cornwall, CT) - This is an on-going opportunity to learn about raising and training cattle to work. FREE every second and fourth Sunday of the month when and if there are willing participants. Please let Debra@motherhouse.us know if you plan to attend.

Chuck Duncan was one of the first and by far the most regular participant and has been working at Local Farm with a young team since 2008. He and “the boys”, Jigger and Jolly, have been learning a great deal from each other and after two years, Chuck can ask them to haul rocks, logs, cartloads of manure… even their own hay!
